దోమలపెంట: నాగర్ కర్నూల్ జిల్లా నల్లమల అటవీ ప్రాంతంలోని దోమలపెంట రేంజ్ పరిధిలో అగ్నిప్రమాదం చోటుచేసుకుంది. నిన్న మధ్యాహ్నం 3 గంటల ప్రాంతంలో వటవర్లపల్లి మరియు ఈగలపెంట బీటు పరిధిలోని అటవీ ప్రాంతంలో ఒక్కసారిగా మంటలు చెలరేగాయి. ఎండల తీవ్రత మరియు పొడి గడ్డి కారణంగా మంటలు వేగంగా విస్తరించాయి.

Ground Fire in Domalapenta Range: 30 Hectares of Grass Burnt; Forest Staff Control Blaze

Domalapenta: A fire broke out in the Nallamala forest region under the Domalapenta Range on Wednesday afternoon. The blaze started around 3:00 PM within the beats of Vatavarlapally and Eegalapenta.

Swift Action by Forest Teams: Under the direct supervision of the Range Forest Officer (RFO), forest beat officers, probationary officers, fire watchers, and base camp staff immediately rushed to the spot. Their timely intervention prevented a major disaster. Officials reported that the "ground fire" affected approximately 30 hectares of land. Fortunately, the damage was limited to dry grass, and no trees or wildlife were harmed in the incident.

Investigation Underway: The Forest Department has launched an investigation to ascertain the cause of the fire and to identify if any human activity was responsible. Officials have warned of strict legal action against anyone found causing forest fires.
