గద్వాల/వడ్డేపల్లి: రాజకీయాల్లో తనదైన ముద్ర వేస్తూ ఎమ్మెల్సీ కల్వకుంట్ల కవిత గారు మరో సంచలనం సృష్టించారు. గద్వాల జిల్లా వడ్డేపల్లి మున్సిపాలిటీలో జరిగిన ఎన్నికల్లో కవిత మద్దతుదారులు అద్భుత విజయాన్ని అందుకున్నారు. ఆల్ ఇండియా ఫార్వర్డ్ బ్లాక్ (AIFB) పార్టీ తరపున 'సింహం' గుర్తుపై పోటీ చేసిన ఆమె అనుచరులు ఏకంగా మున్సిపల్ పీఠాన్ని కైవసం చేసుకున్నారు.

Gadwal/Waddepalli: In a major political development, MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha's followers have clinched the Waddepalli Municipality in Gadwal district. Contesting on the All India Forward Block (AIFB) ticket with the 'Lion' symbol, Kavitha’s supporters dominated the local body elections.

Out of the total 10 wards in the municipality, the AIFB party managed to win a thumping majority of 8 seats. Despite being away from the main party banner in this contest, the strategic move by Kavitha’s followers to use the AIFB platform proved highly successful. With this victory, Kavitha has effectively "opened her account" in the region, showcasing her strong local influence and grassroots grip.
