అచ్చంపేట: మహాశివరాత్రి పర్వదినాన్ని పురస్కరించుకొని శ్రీశైలం ఉత్తర ద్వారంగా ప్రసిద్ధి చెందిన శ్రీ శ్రీ శ్రీ ఉమామహేశ్వర స్వామి దేవస్థానాన్ని అచ్చంపేట ఎమ్మెల్యే డాక్టర్ చిక్కుడు వంశీకృష్ణ దర్శించుకున్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన స్వామివారికి ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహించారు. అనంతరం, ఆలయ కొండపై నూతనంగా విద్యుత్ కాంతులతో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన 30 అడుగుల భారీ శివలింగ ప్రతిమను ఆయన ఆవిష్కరించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఎమ్మెల్యే తో పాటు వనపర్తి జిల్లా డీసీసీ అధ్యక్షులు శివసేన రెడ్డి కూడా పాల్గొన్నారు.
శివరాత్రి సందర్భంగా నియోజకవర్గ మరియు రాష్ట్ర ప్రజలందరికీ ఆయన శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలిపారు. ఆ పరమశివుని కరుణా కటాక్షాలతో ప్రజలందరూ సుఖసంతోషాలతో, ఆయురారోగ్యాలతో ఉండాలని ఆయన ఆకాంక్షించారు. అచ్చంపేట ప్రాంతం సుభిక్షంగా ఉండాలని, ప్రతి ఒక్కరిపై పరమేశ్వరుని అనుగ్రహం ఉండాలని కోరుకుంటూ ప్రత్యేక ప్రార్థనలు చేసినట్లు ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.
Achampet: On the eve of Maha Shivaratri, Achampet MLA Dr. Chikkudu Vamsi Krishna visited the historic Sri Umamaheshwara Swamy Temple, known as the Northern Gateway to Srisailam. After performing special prayers to the deity, the MLA inaugurated a newly installed 30-foot Shiva Lingam statue, beautifully illuminated with electric lights, on the temple hill.
Dr. Vamsi Krishna was joined by Wanaparthy District DCC President Shivasena Reddy.
