దేశీ ఇటిక్యాల గ్రామ శివార్లలో జాతీయ రహదారి 167పై ప్రయాణిస్తున్న సమయంలో ఒక వ్యక్తి బుల్లెట్ బైక్ నుండి అదుపుతప్పి కిందపడి తీవ్ర గాయాలతో రోడ్డు పక్కన ఉండటాన్ని ఎస్పీ గారు గమనించారు. వెంటనే తన వాహనాన్ని ఆపి, ఎస్కార్ట్ సిబ్బంది సహాయంతో బాధితుడిని లేపి రోడ్డు పక్కన కూర్చోబెట్టారు. వృత్తిరీత్యా డాక్టర్ అయిన ఎస్పీ గారు, బాధితుడి తలకు తగిలిన గాయాన్ని స్వయంగా పరిశీలించి, రక్తస్రావం కాకుండా బట్టతో కట్టు కట్టారు. వెంటనే 108 అంబులెన్స్‌కు ఫోన్ చేసి సమాచారం అందించడమే కాకుండా, స్థానిక పోలీస్ స్టేషన్‌ను అప్రమత్తం చేసి బాధితుడికి మెరుగైన వైద్యం అందేలా చూడాలని ఆదేశించారు. సమయస్ఫూర్తితో స్పందించి ప్రాణాపాయం తప్పించిన ఎస్పీ గారి తీరుపై ప్రజలు ప్రశంసలు కురిపిస్తున్నారు.

Nagarkurnool: District SP Dr. Sangram Singh G. Patil, IPS, displayed his compassionate side by coming to the rescue of a road accident victim on National Highway 167 near Desi Itikyala village.

While traveling on the highway, the SP noticed a person lying on the roadside with injuries after losing control of his Bullet motorcycle. SP Sangram Singh immediately halted his convoy and, with the help of his Armed Reserve escort personnel, moved the victim to a safe spot. Being a doctor by profession, the SP personally attended to the victim's head injury and wrapped a cloth to stop the bleeding. He then called the 108 ambulance and alerted the local police station to ensure the victim received swift medical treatment. The SP’s timely intervention and humanitarian gesture are receiving widespread appreciation from the public.
